How to Use:
Safety Precautions:
- Always wear gloves and wash hands after use.
Preparation:
- Ensure that the surfaces are clean and free from grease and oil. Slightly roughen the surface with a wire brush or sandpaper. Cut off the desired length of the Automotive Epoxy Putty and knead it until it turns a uniform color (gray).
Application:
- Apply the putty within 2 minutes of mixing, working it firmly into the crack or hole. For bonding, place the putty between the surfaces and apply firm pressure to ensure intimate contact. For a smooth finish, rub the putty with a damp cloth before it hardens. The working time is approximately 3 minutes, and after 5 to 10 minutes, the putty will harden and form a strong bond. After 60 minutes, the putty can be sanded, drilled, or painted.
Cleanup:
- For cured putty, it can be carefully cut away using a sharp blade.
